The Balm Week Two: Rewilding
tending to the sensations of anxiety and remembering our wholeness
The second week:
In this hour we will consider the sensations and messages that we receive from our body and how we do (or don’t) respond to them. We’ll explore the noise and cacophony from the fertility wellness industry, how we get positioned and, crucially how might return to the truth and wholeness of us when we aren’t being viewed through a lens of deficit.
Why rewilding though?
This is a concept used in ecological conservation -a restoration of the land to a wild uncultivated state, perhaps bringing back native plants and animals.
Human rewilding is a process of reawakening the essential nature that lives within us.
Letting things, letting sensation and have their space and place within, as we take up our space and place on this planet.
Rewilding is re-integration. It isn’t a stand alone event, it’s a remembering that we are social animals in an increasingly technical life, with a large percentage of what we see and hear living in our phone. It is like our a body as a meadow as all the wildflowers begin to bloom. It is wholeness reclaimed.
It’s embracing our anxious body with the same love and friendship as our easeful body.
